Best Solar Panels in Pakistan: LONGi vs JinkoSolar vs Canadian Solar vs JA Solar vs AIKO

Short answer

There is no single best solar panel in Pakistan. LONGi, JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar, JA Solar and AIKO all make high-quality modules; the right one for you depends on your roof, your structure, your budget and getting a genuine grade-A panel from a reliable supplier. The gap between these five brands is smaller than the gap between a well-designed system and a badly designed one. This guide compares them fairly by technology and use, so you can choose with confidence.

Our top picks

Our recommended panel brands are LONGi, JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar, JA Solar and AIKO: all large N-type manufacturers with verifiable serial numbers and 30-year power warranties on their current lines. We also supply Cora Dawn and Jasco. Every panel we stock is 615 W or above.

Our top panel picks and their current flagship lines

LONGi

Hi-MO 9, Hi-MO X10 (back-contact), 625–670 W

JinkoSolar

Tiger Neo 3.0, 615–670 W

Canadian Solar

TOPBiHiKu7, 615–720 W

JA Solar

DeepBlue 4.0 Pro, 605–655 W

AIKO

Stellar (ABC back-contact), 620–685 W

All five appear on the BloombergNEF Tier 1 list (Q2 2026, as reported). Tier 1 is a bankability list, not a quality grade for a single panel.

How to judge "best" for your roof

Before comparing logos, decide what matters on your site. These are the criteria we use when selecting panels for a project:

  1. Cell technology. Most current panels are N-type (TOPCon, back-contact or heterojunction), which generally hold up better in heat and lose less power over time than older P-type panels. See our N-type vs P-type guide.
  2. Efficiency and roof space. Higher efficiency means more watts from the same roof. It matters most where roof area is tight.
  3. Panel size and weight. Large 600 W+ panels need stronger structures and careful handling. See 600 to 720 W panels.
  4. Bifacial or mono-facial. Bifacial panels collect some light from the back, which pays off mainly on elevated structures over light-coloured surfaces.
  5. Heat performance. Punjab summers are hot; a better temperature coefficient (on the datasheet) means less output lost on hot days.
  6. Warranty and local support. Compare the manufacturer's written warranty for the exact model, and who in Pakistan will process a claim. We do not quote warranty years here; they vary by model and should be.
  7. Authenticity. A genuine mid-range panel beats a fake premium one every time. Check serials using our guide to genuine solar panels.
  8. Price per watt. Compare cost per watt, not per panel, across the same wattage class.

Brand-by-brand comparison

All five are large, established manufacturers. The model families below are examples of current ranges; always confirm the exact model and datasheet in your quotation.

We also supply Cora Dawn and Jasco panels; ask us to compare their datasheets side by side with the brands above for your project.

LONGi

LONGi is one of the largest module makers in the world and is closely associated with mono-crystalline silicon. Its recent ranges use back-contact cells, where the electrical contacts sit on the rear of the cell instead of the front. That leaves more of the front surface to catch light. More on our LONGi solar panels page.

JinkoSolar

JinkoSolar's Tiger Neo range uses N-type TOPCon cells and is available in many sizes, including bifacial double-glass versions. It is a familiar name to Pakistani buyers, and popular brands are also the ones counterfeiters copy, so verify serials. See JinkoSolar panels.

Canadian Solar

Canadian Solar offers N-type TOPCon panels in both bifacial (TOPBiHiKu) and mono-facial versions, with large-format options suited to commercial and ground-mounted projects. See Canadian Solar panels.

JA Solar

JA Solar's DeepBlue range covers mainstream N-type modules, including bifacial double-glass versions for elevated or ground arrays. See JA Solar panels.

AIKO

AIKO is newer to many Pakistani buyers but is a major cell and module manufacturer. Its ABC (all-back-contact) panels aim at the high-efficiency end of the market and often come in an all-black finish. See AIKO solar panels.

What "Tier 1 solar panels" really means

You will often hear "Tier 1" used as a sign of quality. It is not quite that. The widely quoted Tier 1 list from BloombergNEF ranks manufacturers by bankability: whether their own-brand panels have been used in several projects financed by banks without recourse. It does not test efficiency, degradation or the quality of a specific panel.

All five brands in this guide appear on recent Tier 1 lists. That tells you the manufacturer is established. It does not tell you that the panel on a dealer's floor is genuine or grade-A, so the serial check still matters.

Common mistakes when choosing a solar plate

How Solar Works Pakistan chooses panels for a project

We are an engineering-led EPC and trading company, founded in 2021, with 300+ customers and 50+ industrial clients across Punjab. We do not push one brand. Our in-house engineers select panels after a site survey, based on your load, roof area, structure, budget and future expansion. The quotation names the exact brand, model and quantity, and the manufacturer's warranty is. You can browse all brands we supply or estimate your system size with the solar calculator.

Frequently asked questions

Which solar panel is best in Pakistan?

LONGi, JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar, JA Solar and AIKO are all strong choices. The best one for you depends on roof space, structure, budget and whether you want bifacial or high-efficiency back-contact panels. A genuine panel from a reliable supplier matters more than the logo.

Are N-type panels better than P-type?

For most new projects, yes. N-type panels generally lose less power over time and handle heat better. Most panels sold today by these brands are N-type, and our N-type vs P-type guide explains the difference.

Is a Tier 1 solar panel always good quality?

Tier 1 is a bankability ranking of manufacturers, not a quality test of individual panels. It shows the maker is established, but you still need to confirm the panel is genuine and grade-A.

Should I buy bifacial panels for my house?

Bifacial panels help most when mounted high above a light-coloured roof or ground, so light can reach the back. On a low, flush-mounted structure over a dark roof, the extra gain is small. Your installer should advise based on the structure.

What are the top solar panel brands in Pakistan with price?

The main brands sold in Pakistan include LONGi, JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar, JA Solar and AIKO. Prices change often with the dollar rate, so see our solar panel price page or WhatsApp 0336 666 4321 for today's rate.

How many years do these panels last?

Good quality panels are designed to work for decades, losing a little output each year. The exact performance warranty depends on the model and is.

Does Solar Works Pakistan only sell one brand?

No. We supply LONGi, JinkoSolar, Canadian Solar, JA Solar, AIKO, Cora Dawn and Jasco, and choose for each project based on engineering needs and budget.
