Solar calculator
Solar panel calculator: what size system do you need?
Enter the units on your summer bill, set what you run and when your ACs run. The calculator estimates a hybrid system: panels, inverter, LiFePO₄ battery, roof space and an approximate cost. It is an estimate, not a quote; we confirm the final size on a free site survey.
How this estimate works
These are the assumptions behind every result. They are general Punjab figures, not readings from your site.
| Assumption | Value used |
|---|---|
| Grid tariff (units you would otherwise import) | Rs 60 per unit |
| Net-billing buy-back for exported units | Rs 10 per unit |
| Installed hybrid price used for the cost estimate | Rs 60 to Rs 150 per watt, depending on the equipment required (as of 12 October 2026; changes with the rupee rate and stock) |
| Panel size | 715 W |
| Sizing yield (summer) | 5 units per kW per day |
| Roof space per panel (with spacing) | 3.4 m² |
| Inverter margin over peak load | 25% |
| Battery packs considered | 5, 10, 15, 16 and 32 kWh, up to 3 of one size |
Monthly yield used for the savings estimate

Units per kW per day. Payback is the estimated price range divided by a year of estimated hybrid savings; it ignores tariff changes, battery replacement and financing.
