Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use solarworks.pk or contact us, why we collect it, and how to ask us to delete it.

This policy explains what information solarworks.pk collects, why, and what we do with it. "We" means Solar Works Pakistan, Main Boulevard, Sargodha Rd, Block F FDA City, Faisalabad, with a branch office at 2nd Floor, Jeff Heights, Gulberg, Lahore.

What we collect

Enquiry and site-visit forms. The forms ask for your name, phone number and city. They can also ask for your site type, monthly bill or units, and a message. Name, phone and city are required. Everything else is optional.

WhatsApp, phone and email. We receive whatever you send us, such as messages, photos of your bill or system, and your number.

Browsing the site. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages are useful. It records things like the pages you open, your device and browser type, your approximate location (city level) and how you reached the site. It uses cookies to do this. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Technical logs. Our host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested, for security. The contact form also uses your IP address for 30 seconds to block repeated automatic submissions.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and arrange a site visit.
To give after-sales support for a system we installed.
To understand which pages help visitors, so we can improve the site.
To keep the site and forms safe from spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Who else receives it

Email. Form submissions are sent by email to info@solarworks.pk.
WhatsApp (Meta). If you message us on WhatsApp, or the form falls back to WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply.
Google. Google receives data for Analytics, for the embedded office maps, for the icon font, and for YouTube videos. YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
Hostinger. Hostinger hosts the website.
The law. We share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to reply to you. If you become a customer, we keep them while we support your system. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, the longest period Google Analytics allows.

Your choices

Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@solarworks.pk or WhatsApp 0336 666 4321.
Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Children

The site is meant for adults buying or maintaining solar systems. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
