Is solar safe for my home and children?
Short answer
A correctly installed system is designed to operate safely. That means proper earthing, breakers and surge protection, cables in conduit, the equipment mounted out of children's reach, and a clear isolation point. Keep children off the roof and away from the inverter and battery. Only trained people should work on the system.
