Will new net metering / gross metering rules affect me?
Short answer
If your net metering agreement was signed before 9 February 2026, its terms continue until the agreement expires. New applicants are on net billing. Talk to us before you raise your sanctioned load or extend a grandfathered system, because doing so can end that protection. The rules may change again, and we keep this answer updated.

Before raising sanctioned load on a grandfathered FESCO or LESCO connection, talk to our Faisalabad or Lahore office: it can end your old terms.
