What size system do I need for my monthly bill?
Short answer
Sizing starts from your units (kWh), not the rupee amount. As a rough guide in Punjab, each 1 kW of panels produces about 110–150 units a month, depending on the season. Take your average monthly units, look at your summer peak and decide how much backup you want. Under the 2026 rules, the system is also capped at your sanctioned load. We work this out from your bill history before we recommend a size.
