What you will see
- Inverter stops at midday on bright days
- FusionSolar shows 2034 or 2072
- LED blinks red quickly (AC-side alarm)
Why it happens
When many homes on one transformer export together, voltage rises past the limit.
A long or thin AC cable adds to the voltage the inverter sees.
Why it stops on bright afternoons
- 01Many homes export at midday
- 02Street voltage rises
- 03Inverter sees it above its limit (2034)
- 04Disconnects, recovers when normal
2072 is a short voltage spike. Limits change only with DISCO consent.
What you can check yourself
- Screenshot the alarm in FusionSolar with time and cause ID
- Note whether it happens on sunny afternoons
- Ask neighbours with solar if theirs stop too
What not to do
- Do not ask anyone to raise limits without FESCO or LESCO consent
- Do not keep switching the AC breaker
When to call us
- Measure voltage at meter and inverter
- Check AC cable size and joints
- Prepare readings for a DISCO complaint
Midday voltage
High midday voltage is common on busy FESCO and LESCO transformers. Our Faisalabad and Lahore teams take readings so you can raise it with your DISCO.
