Why it happens
Manufacturers provide their own support and warranty channels. GoodWe, for example, publishes official warranty resources; verification requests should use the relevant manufacturer’s authorised route.
Ask the supplier to explain discrepancies before installation proceeds. Compare the order, invoice, carton and externally visible product identification where this can be done safely.
For batteries, also confirm the exact module family and intended inverter combination through the approved documentation. A familiar brand, matching voltage or claimed communication protocol alone does not establish compatibility.

- Compare the full model codes, including suffixes.
- Keep clear delivery photographs and serial records.
- Request the applicable datasheet and warranty document.
- Record any transit damage or missing items on the delivery record.
- Do not move a heavy inverter or battery alone to read an inaccessible label. Ask the delivery or installation team to provide the information safely.
What not to do
- Do not open sealed electrical equipment to inspect internal parts. Do not treat an unofficial verification website as conclusive proof. Avoid accepting an unexplained substitute on the basis of similar appearance.
