Why we moved our customers to lithium iron phosphate

Short answer

Tubular lead-acid batteries need topping up with water, a ventilated space and replacement every few years. LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) batteries cost more at the start, but they stop being a maintenance job. For most hybrid systems we install in Faisalabad and Lahore, that trade is worth making.

What changes for the owner

What doesn't change

When tubular can still make sense

For a very small backup on a tight budget, where the owner is happy to maintain it, tubular batteries still work. We'll tell you honestly if that's your case.

Before you buy any battery

Use our solar battery buying checklist: a traceable seller, the datasheet, written warranty terms, and someone local who will support it. WhatsApp us your inverter model and what you need backed up, and we'll suggest a battery on that inverter's approved list.
