Can I use my existing UPS and batteries?
Short answer
Sometimes, but often it isn't worth it. An old UPS isn't designed for solar charging, and old tubular batteries are usually near the end of their life. Mixing old batteries with new ones, or using a battery the inverter isn't approved for, causes problems. We check what you have and tell you honestly.
