Small projects normally run through stages 01 to 03 in a few days, subject to payments, equipment availability and site readiness. Larger projects follow a project-specific schedule. Structures carry a 3-year Solar Works Pakistan warranty.
Foundation and racking installation
The first phase on site is preparing the foundation and installing the racking that carries the panels.
Foundation work. Depending on the characteristics of the site, foundations may need to be dug and concrete footings poured to support the racking. Proper foundation work is what gives the installation its stability and its life.
Racking installation. The racking holds the panels securely in the best position for sunlight. It takes precise engineering and installation to keep the array both stable and correctly oriented.
What we check before pouring anything
Roof or ground condition. Slab strength, waterproofing, and whether the surface can take point loads at all.
Shading through the year. Parapets, water tanks, stair blocks and neighbouring buildings, at winter sun angles rather than summer ones.
Layout and row spacing. How the structure type chosen fits the usable area, and where the washing access runs.
Wind exposure. Open sites and upper storeys need heavier footings and pressure-release gaps.
In short
Foundations and racking are the part of a solar installation you cannot correct later. Get the footings, the alignment and the tilt right and the array simply sits there for twenty years; get them wrong and no amount of good equipment above them helps. With the steelwork standing, the job moves to electrical installation and commissioning — cable, protections, inverter, earthing, then the tests before energising.
