What you will see

  • AC V Outrange or Error 300 on the screen or ShinePhone app
  • Inverter stops at midday on bright days, or in the evening peak
  • Lights flicker or dim at the same time

Why it happens

High midday voltage happens when many houses on one transformer export at once. Low evening voltage happens on overloaded lines.

A long or thin AC cable between the inverter and meter adds to what the inverter sees.

Growatt's advice is to check the grid voltage and, if it is within range and the error stays, contact support.

Applies to Growatt MIN, MOD, MID and SPH inverters.

What you can check yourself

  • Note the time it happens and whether it is sunny-afternoon or evening
  • Ask neighbours with solar if their inverters stop at the same time
  • Check that the AC breaker for the inverter is fully ON

What not to do

  • Do not change the country or grid setting yourself
  • Do not keep switching the breaker off and on

When to call us

  • Measure voltage at meter and inverter
  • Check AC cable size, length and joints
  • Confirm the right country setting
  • Prepare readings for a FESCO or LESCO complaint

Grid voltage in Faisalabad and Lahore

High midday and low evening voltage are common on busy FESCO and LESCO transformers. Our teams take readings so you can raise it with your DISCO.
