What you will see

  • The expected charging period begins, but the battery stays idle.
  • Charging starts at an unexpected time.
  • A schedule appears in the app but the inverter behaves differently.
  • Charging works on some days and is missed on others.

Why it happens

On supported inverters, timed charging must be enabled and configured within the appropriate operating mode. Grid charging permission, the selected time window, charging limits and a target or reserve level may also affect the result. These controls differ by model and firmware.

A timed charging window should not be assumed to override every other condition. The installer must distinguish scheduled charging from a separate backup-reserve or protective charging function. Solis, for example, documents different behaviour for its supported energy-storage modes.

It also matters which supply the plan relies on. A grid-charging schedule cannot draw energy from an unavailable grid. If the inverter shows a grid or battery warning during the missed period, include that evidence rather than changing the timer immediately.

Treat an apparent timing mismatch as a question to investigate. Compare the inverter’s displayed date and time with local time, and check the timestamp on the screenshot. This helps separate an actual missed schedule from a display or clock issue.

What you can check yourself

  • View the schedule and its enabled status without changing installer settings.
  • Photograph the operating mode, charging window and target shown, where accessible.
  • Compare the inverter clock and app timestamp with local time.
  • Note whether grid electricity was available throughout the expected period.
  • Record the starting battery charge, any alarms, and whether someone recently changed the schedule.
  • If more than one charging period is displayed, send all of them. A cropped screenshot can leave out information needed to understand the arrangement.

What not to do

  • Do not experiment with charging current, battery voltage, protection thresholds or country settings.
  • Avoid repeatedly changing several options together; that removes the useful comparison with the original configuration.

When to call us

  • Contact us if an agreed schedule repeatedly fails, the inverter clock does not match the intended timing, or displayed settings differ from the handover arrangement. The schedule and event history should be checked together.

Schedule checks in Faisalabad and Lahore

Load-shedding in Faisalabad and Lahore often lands inside a grid-charging window. Send us the full schedule screenshots and our team will compare them with the event history.
