What you will see
- Inverter stops in the evening or when heavy loads start
- ID002 in the Event List
- Lights dim at the same time
Why it happens
Low voltage at the end of a long or overloaded line takes the grid out of the inverter's range.
A loose connection or worn breaker inside your own wiring gives the same reading.
Voltage dips, inverter waits
Normal supply
Peak hours or motor start
What you can check yourself
- Note the time and what was running
- Check whether lights dim or fans slow down
- Check that the inverter's AC breaker is fully ON and not visibly heat-marked
What not to do
- Do not open the distribution board
- Do not put a stabilizer in front of an on-grid inverter
When to call us
- Measure voltage at meter and inverter during the dip
- Inspect AC terminals and the breaker
- Check cable size
- Log readings for FESCO or LESCO
Evening voltage dips
Peak-hour voltage drops are common on overloaded lines in Faisalabad and Lahore. We check whether the cause is the supply or your wiring.
