What you will see
- System Fault with a code such as 7, 11, 16, 100–124, 300–328 or 1096–1122
- System Alarm with a code such as 59, 70–83, 500–518 or 900–911
Why it happens
These codes cover internal checks: relays, sensors, communication inside the inverter and similar. Many are triggered by a single event like a voltage spike and clear on their own.
What to do with System codes
System Alarm
Inverter keeps running. Check when convenient.
System Fault
Inverter has stopped. Wait, restart once, call if it returns.
What you can check yourself
- Write down the exact code number
- Wait to see if it clears by itself
- Restart once using our safe restart guide
- Check if it returns at the same time or after the same event
What not to do
- Do not restart again and again
- Do not open the inverter; it has no user-serviceable parts
When to call us
- Read the fault log
- Check wiring and terminals named by the alarm
- Raise a Sungrow warranty case if the fault repeats
Warranty cases
If a Sungrow System Fault keeps returning, we gather the logs and serial number and help you raise a warranty case from Faisalabad or Lahore.
