Price per kWh: the fairer comparison
When you compare quotes, divide the battery price by its usable kWh. That price per kWh lets you compare a 5 kWh wall unit with a 16 kWh stack fairly.

"5 kW", "10 kW" and "16 kW" lithium battery: what people really mean
Many searches are for a "5kw lithium battery price in Pakistan" or a "16kw lithium battery price in Pakistan". Batteries are really rated in kWh (energy stored), while kW is the rate of power flow. In the market, "5 kW battery" almost always means a battery that stores about 5 kWh.
The difference matters. A 5 kWh battery could, for example, run a 1 kW load for about 5 hours, or a 2.5 kW load for about 2 hours, before allowing for losses. Our battery sizing guide explains this with worked examples.
48 V low-voltage vs high-voltage batteries
The 48V lithium battery price in Pakistan is often lower per unit than a high-voltage stack, but the two are built for different inverters.
- Low-voltage (48 V class, often 51.2 V nominal): used with most residential hybrid inverters sold in Pakistan, such as Inverex, Knox and others. Capacity is increased by connecting units in parallel.
- High-voltage (stacked modules): Huawei and Sungrow high-voltage batteries are designed to pair with their own brand's hybrid inverters. Modules stack to raise both voltage and capacity, which keeps larger systems tidy.

LiFePO₄ vs tubular battery: a short comparison
Almost every modern lithium solar battery uses LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry. It is the chemistry we supply.

How to size a lithium battery for night load
Size the battery for the load you actually want to run, not for the whole house.
Sizing a battery for essential night loads

Longer outages, or one inverter AC for part of the night
- List the essential loads you want at night or during load-shedding (fans, lights, fridge, router, perhaps one inverter AC).
- Add up their running watts, for example about 800 W.
- Multiply by the hours you need: 800 W × 6 hours = 4,800 Wh, or 4.8 kWh.
- Allow for losses and reserve: dividing by 0.85 gives roughly 5.6 kWh.
- Round up to a practical size: about 6 kWh, or a 5 kWh unit with fewer loads.

Lithium batteries and net billing
From 9 February 2026, new rooftop solar connections moved from net metering to net billing, where exported units are bought at a much lower rate than the price you pay for grid units. Existing net-metering agreements continue until they expire.
Under net billing, a battery can make more sense than before, because storing your own daytime solar for evening use is worth more than exporting it cheaply. Battery storage (BESS) for factories and commercial sites
For factories, mills and commercial buildings, storage is designed as a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS): high-voltage battery cabinets, a power conversion system and an energy management system. BESS and hybrid systems are a specialist area for Solar Works Pakistan.

- Brand and ecosystem: high-voltage batteries that pair with a specific inverter brand cost more but integrate tightly.
- Usable capacity: more kWh costs more, but the price per kWh often improves with size.
- Voltage type: low-voltage and high-voltage designs are priced differently.
- Accessories: battery control or power modules, cables, breakers and mounting.
- Stock: availability of a particular model at a given time.
