On-grid inverter price in Pakistan
An on-grid inverter turns solar DC into AC that runs your load and, where permitted, exports surplus to the grid. Size for size it is usually the simplest and lowest-cost inverter, because there is no battery charger inside. The trade-off: it shuts down during load-shedding. Hybrid inverter price in Pakistan
A hybrid inverter combines a solar charger, battery charger and inverter. It runs your load from solar first, charges a battery, and can draw from the grid when needed. Most homes in Punjab choose hybrid because of load-shedding. You can install it without a battery and add one later, as long as the battery is on the inverter's supported list.
Off-grid inverter

A 5 kW inverter is common for homes with a few fans, lights, a fridge and one inverter AC. In practice we often recommend 6 kW or more, because loads tend to grow (a second AC, a water pump) and the price gap between 5 kW and 6 kW is usually small.
6 kW hybrid inverter price in Pakistan
The 6 kW single-phase hybrid is one of the most searched sizes in Pakistan. It suits a typical house with one or two inverter ACs during the day and essential loads at night on battery. Solis, GoodWe, Sungrow, Primax, Inverex Nitrox and Knox all have models in this class.
10 kW inverter price in Pakistan
At 10 kW you have a real choice between single-phase and three-phase. Larger homes, shops and small offices often have a three-phase connection, and a three-phase inverter spreads the load evenly across all three lines.
15 kW and above

Single-phase vs three-phase inverters
Your electricity connection decides this, not preference.
- Single-phase: most houses. One live line and neutral. Single-phase inverters typically go up to around 10–12 kW.
- Three-phase: larger houses, commercial buildings and factories. Three live lines plus neutral. A three-phase inverter feeds all three phases evenly, which keeps the system balanced.

Battery compatibility: check before you buy
A hybrid inverter only works well with a battery it was designed for. Before buying, check:
- Battery type. Most home hybrid inverters use a low-voltage (48 V class) battery. Huawei and Sungrow hybrid inverters are built around their own high-voltage battery stacks.
- Communication. Lithium batteries talk to the inverter through a battery management system (BMS). The inverter and battery must be on each other's compatibility lists, or the battery will not charge and discharge correctly. Matching voltage alone is not enough.
- Charging current. The inverter's battery charge current must suit the battery's size.
- Expansion. If you plan to add more battery later, check how many units the inverter supports.

What changes the price of a solar inverter
- Dollar rate and import costs. Most inverters are imported, so the rupee rate has a direct effect.
- Type. Hybrid costs more than on-grid of the same size because it includes a battery charger and backup output.
- Phase. Three-phase models generally cost more than single-phase of the same kW.
- PV input and MPPTs. More MPPT inputs and a higher PV input limit let you connect more panels in more directions.
- Protection rating. Models with higher dust and water protection for outdoor or dusty sites cost more.
- Monitoring. Built-in Wi-Fi or a monitoring dongle, and the quality of the app, vary by brand.
- Parallel capability. Some hybrid models can be paralleled to build a larger system later.
- Stock. Popular sizes can sell out; short supply pushes prices up for a period.
How to choose the right inverter size
- Read your bills. Your last 12 months of electricity bills show how many units you use across summer and winter.
- List what must run during load-shedding. This sets the hybrid inverter's backup output and the battery size.
- Check your connection. Single-phase or three-phase, and your sanctioned load.

Net billing and your inverter
If you plan to export surplus power, your inverter must be suitable for grid connection and the application run by your DISCO (such as FESCO or LESCO). In February 2026, NEPRA replaced net metering with net billing for new connections, so exported units are bought at a much lower rate than the units you buy from the grid.
