How does a GoodWe hybrid handle load-shedding?

Short answer

When the grid goes off, a GoodWe ES or ET hybrid moves its backup port to battery and solar power so the loads on that circuit keep running. Appliances on the main board without backup wiring go off.

If backup loads are too high, it reports Back-up Output Overload (F55) and you need to switch some loads off. Some models can also work with a generator.
