1000W Solar Panel Price in Pakistan: Does a 1000 Watt Solar Panel Exist?
Short answer
There is no standard 1000 watt solar panel on sale in Pakistan. Mainstream rooftop panels currently top out at about 700-720 W, and the most powerful modules announced by manufacturers worldwide are around 760-800 W. If you want 1,000 watts (1 kW) of panels, the honest answer is two panels, such as two 585 W panels (1.17 kW) at WhatsApp for today's rate each. A listing that says "1000W solar panel" is usually two panels sold together, a portable power-station kit, or a mislabelled product. For today's rate, WhatsApp 0336 666 4321.
Why a single 1000 W panel is not practical
A panel's wattage depends on two things: its area and its efficiency. Good modern N-type panels convert roughly 22-24% of the sunlight that hits them into electricity under standard test conditions.
Here is the rough arithmetic, for illustration:
- Standard test sunlight is 1,000 watts per square metre.
- At 23% efficiency, each square metre gives about 230 W.
- 1,000 W ÷ 230 W per m² = about 4.3 square metres of panel.
That is roughly 2.4 m × 1.8 m, or about 8 × 6 feet, for a single panel. Today's large-format 700 W class panels are already about 2.38 × 1.30 m (7.8 × 4.3 ft), and they weigh in the mid-30s to around 40 kg. A 1000 W panel would be about a third larger again: too big and heavy to carry up stairs, too large for standard structures, and much more exposed to wind.
So the industry grows wattage by making cells more efficient and panels slightly bigger, not by building one giant panel. See solar panel size in feet for current formats.

What is the highest-wattage solar panel?
| Panel class | Where you will see it | Status in Pakistan |
|---|---|---|
| 615-625 W | Homes, shops, most rooftops | Widely available |
| 640-670 W | Homes with open roofs, commercial | Available |
| 700-720 W | Factory roofs, sheds, ground mounts | Available from several brands |
| 750-760 W | Utility and industrial projects | Newly announced in 2026 by some makers; limited or no local stock |
| About 800 W | Exhibition prototypes | Shown at trade fairs; not a mainstream product |
| 1000 W | Not a standard product | Not available as a single standard panel |
In March 2026 one major manufacturer announced a 760 W module for utility plants and industrial roofs, expected in Europe in the second half of 2026. An 800 W prototype was shown at a Chinese trade fair as far back as 2020, but 800 W panels have not become a mainstream rooftop product. What "1000W solar panel" listings usually are
If you see a "1000 watt solar panel" for sale online or in a market, it is usually one of these:
- Two panels sold as a pair. For example, two 500-600 W panels described as "1000W". The price may be fair, but it is two plates, not one.
- A portable power station kit. A 1000 W battery box (power station) bundled with a small folding panel. The "1000W" is the box's output rating, not the panel's.
- A total kit rating. A "1000W solar system" with panels, a small inverter and a battery, where 1000 W is the inverter size.
- A mislabelled or unverifiable panel. A label printed with a rating the panel cannot physically produce for its size. Measure the panel: if it is the size of a normal 615 W panel, it cannot be 1000 W.
- A misunderstanding of "1 kW". Many people search "1000 watt panel" when they mean "1 kW of panels". That is two panels, which is perfectly normal.
Questions to ask before buying a "1000 W" panel
- What are the exact brand and model number? Look the model up on the manufacturer's own website.
- What are the panel's dimensions and weight? Compare them with the 4.3 m² rule of thumb above.
- Is it one panel or several? Ask for the number of plates in the box.
- Does the "1000W" refer to the panel, an inverter, or a power station?
- Can I see the datasheet? Check the rated power (Pmax), voltage and current.
- Can I verify the serial number? Use the maker's official site. Our guide on how to check genuine solar panels shows the routes for the major brands.
- Is the manufacturer's warranty in writing? If not, walk away.
1000W solar panel price in Pakistan: what 1 kW of panels costs
The fair way to price "1000 watts of panels" is per watt. Use today's per-watt rate and multiply by the total wattage you are buying.
| Option for about 1 kW | Panels | Actual wattage | Price per panel | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Two 615 W panels | 2 | 1,230 W | WhatsApp for today's rate | WhatsApp for today's rate |
| Two 650 W panels | 2 | 1,300 W | WhatsApp for today's rate | WhatsApp for today's rate |

Is 1 kW of solar enough for your home?
For most Punjab homes, no. One inverter air conditioner running hard can draw more than 1 kW on its own, and a typical home with fans, a fridge, lights and one AC needs much more than that during the day. A 1 kW array also produces only a few units a day, so it makes little difference to a normal bill.
Solar Works Pakistan designs systems from about 6 kW up to megawatt scale. We do not install 1-3 kW systems, because they rarely cover a typical household's real load. A better approach:
- Check your bill. Look at your monthly units across summer and winter.
- List your daytime loads, especially ACs and water pumps.
- Estimate the size with our solar calculator.
- Count the panels with our guide on how many solar panels for 5 kW or 10 kW.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a 1000 watt solar panel in Pakistan?
Not as a standard single panel. Mainstream panels on sale top out at around 700-720 W. A "1000W" listing is usually two panels, a power-station kit or a mislabelled product.
What is the 1000W solar panel price in Pakistan?
Price it as 1 kW of panels: two 615 W panels cost WhatsApp for today's rate each, giving 1.23 kW. Multiply today's per-watt rate by the total wattage. WhatsApp 0336 666 4321 for today's rate.
What is the most powerful solar panel available?
In Pakistan, the largest common panels are about 700-720 W. Some manufacturers announced 750-760 W modules in 2026 for utility projects, and 800 W prototypes have been shown at trade fairs, but these are not standard rooftop products.
How many solar panels make 1 kW?
Two panels of 615 W or more. For example, two 615 W panels give 1,230 W, and two 650 W panels give 1,300 W.
Can a 1000 watt solar panel run an AC?
No single panel can, and 1 kW of panels is not enough to run a typical AC reliably either. An inverter AC can draw more than 1 kW on a hot afternoon, and output from panels drops with heat, dust and cloud. Air conditioning needs a properly sized system.
How can I tell if a high-wattage panel is genuine?
Check the size and weight against the datasheet, and verify the serial number on the manufacturer's official website. A panel the size of a normal 615 W plate cannot produce 1000 W.
