What you will see
- Low battery, battery protection or overload alarms in the evening or at night.

Why it happens
After sunset the battery carries the whole house. If the evening load is higher than the battery and inverter were sized for, or the battery did not reach full charge during the day, the inverter hits its limits and protects itself.
Cloudy days, dusty panels and extra daytime load all mean less charge going into the battery.
What you can check yourself
- Check the battery percentage in the app at sunset.
- List what was running when the alarm started.
- Compare the day’s solar total with a normal day.
- Try staggering heavy evening loads rather than starting them together.
