SOFAR hybrid shows BMS OVP, UVP, OCP or Short alarm (ID177–ID182)

Short answer

These alarms come from the lithium battery's own BMS: over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current or a short-circuit alarm. SOFAR describes them as internal battery failures and suggests switching off the inverter and battery, waiting five minutes and switching on again. If the alarm returns, the battery needs checking.

Why it happens
