Solis hybrid shows CAN Fail, NO-Battery or BatName-FAIL

Short answer

CAN Fail means the Solis hybrid cannot talk to the battery. Solis asks you to check the cable, that it is in the CAN port on both ends, and that it is the right cable; some batteries need a special one from the battery maker. NO-Battery means the battery is not connected, and BatName-FAIL means the battery brand selected does not match the real battery.
