What you will see
- Buzzer beeps twice a second and the overload icon flashes
- Inverter shuts down with Fault 07 when the AC or iron is on
- Fault 05 the moment one appliance is switched on
Why it happens
An SPF supplies everything on its output from battery and solar. Motors and heaters can push it past its rating, especially when starting.
A damaged appliance or wiring fault causes a short circuit.
Warning first, then shutdown
- 01Load goes over the limit
- 02Warning 07, fast beeping
- 03Stays over too long
- 04Fault 07, inverter shuts down
- 05Switch off heavy loads, restart
Fault 05 is different: a short circuit on the output.
What you can check yourself
- Switch off heavy loads and restart
- Find which appliance triggers it by switching them on one at a time
- Unplug any appliance that trips it instantly
What not to do
- Do not keep running the AC and iron together on battery
- Do not open the inverter
When to call us
- Check output wiring for a short
- Review load against inverter size
- Advise on a larger unit or parallel units
Off-grid homes and shops
SPF inverters run many homes and shops in Faisalabad and Lahore through load-shedding. We check loads and size systems so they stop tripping.
