Check whether the event was recorded, whether the plant was communicating and which notification method was enabled. Phone permissions and account contact details are also useful parts of the review.
Separately, clarify who is responsible for reviewing alarms and arranging service. App access alone should not be treated as a promise of continuous monitoring or automatic attendance.

What you can check yourself
- Save the event-history entry and its timestamp.
- Review ordinary notification permissions on your phone.
- Confirm the account’s current contact details.
- Check any written monitoring or maintenance agreement.
- Ask the service team how notification delivery can be verified without creating an electrical fault. Record the result and the intended recipient.
What not to do
- Do not deliberately overload the inverter, disconnect a battery or disable protection to test an alert. Do not rely on phone notifications as the sole response to smoke, burning or another immediate hazard.
