15 kW Hybrid Inverter Price in Pakistan: 12 to 20 kW Three-Phase Hybrids Compared

Short answer

For a 12, 15 or 20 kW hybrid system, you will almost always need a three-phase hybrid inverter paired with a high-voltage lithium battery. Huawei, Sungrow, Solis and GoodWe all make three-phase hybrids in this range, and the right one depends on the size steps each brand offers, the battery you want and how much backup power you need during load-shedding. The 15 kW hybrid inverter price in Pakistan moves with the dollar rate, so see the table below and WhatsApp 0336 666 4321 for today's rate.

We supply all four brands, so this guide compares them on fit, not on which one we would rather sell.

Who needs a 12 to 20 kW hybrid?

This range sits above typical home systems and below full commercial plants. It suits:

If your load is closer to 8 or 10 kW, read our 8 kW and 10 kW comparisons instead. For shops and plazas, our commercial solar guide covers the wider design.

Three-phase hybrids must handle unbalanced loads.

Why three-phase at this size

At 12 kW and above, the connection is almost always three-phase, and the inverter should match. A three-phase hybrid spreads its output across all three phases, so loads on every phase are served by solar and, in an outage, by the battery. A single-phase inverter on a three-phase connection would only serve one phase. Our three-phase vs single-phase inverter guide explains this in detail.

The other route is two or three single-phase hybrids running together. That can work, but it brings its own wiring and balancing rules; see running two inverters in parallel for when it makes sense.

High-voltage batteries: the other half of the decision

Three-phase hybrids in this range are designed for high-voltage lithium batteries, made of stacked modules that together run at a few hundred volts. They do not take the 48 V batteries used with most single-phase home inverters. For example, Solis lists a battery window of 120 to 800 V on its three-phase S6 hybrids, and Sungrow describes its SH-T range as working with batteries from about 100 to 700 V.

This has two practical effects:

  1. The inverter and battery are chosen as a pair. Each brand publishes the batteries it supports. We pair each one with a compatible high-voltage battery, such as Luminey, Dyness, Pylontech or BYD.
  2. Capacity grows by adding modules to the stack, within the limits of that battery family.

Brand notes

Sungrow

Sungrow's SH-T range starts at 15 kW and goes to 25 kW, which makes it a natural fit for the upper half of this range and for small commercial sites. We pair it with a compatible high-voltage battery from Luminey, Dyness, Pylontech or BYD.2 kWh steps.

Solis

Solis covers 12, 15 and 20 kW in one three-phase high-voltage family. Four MPPTs are useful on roofs with panels facing different directions or with partial shade on some rows.

GoodWe

GoodWe's ET 15-30K range covers 15 kW upward, so it suits buyers who may grow beyond 20 kW. It has two MPPTs that take more current each, so strings are arranged differently from a four-MPPT design.

Net billing, the 25 kW line and export control

Systems in this range sit below 25 kW, which matters under the 2026 rules: as our NEPRA licence guide explains, exporting systems of 25 kW or smaller are approved by your DISCO without a NEPRA fee. Net billing is available to three-phase 400 V or 11 kV consumers, and your system cannot exceed your sanctioned load. Read our net metering and net billing guide for the export rate and steps.

If you will not export, the hybrid can limit export using a meter or CT; see zero export device. Hybrids handle this well, because surplus solar charges the battery before output is throttled.

How to choose

  1. Confirm the connection is three-phase and check your sanctioned load.
  2. List backup loads. Decide which circuits must run in load-shedding, then check the inverter's backup rating, not just its headline kW.
  3. Size the battery in kWh, then choose an inverter that supports that battery.
  4. Match MPPT count to the roof. More roof faces or shade favour more MPPTs.
  5. Plan growth. If you may pass 20 kW, choose a family with larger sizes or a parallel option.

Frequently asked questions

What is the 15 kW hybrid inverter price in Pakistan?

It depends on the brand, the backup features and the dollar rate, so check the price table above. WhatsApp 0336 666 4321 for today's rate, ideally with the battery size you want.

What is the Solis 12 kW hybrid inverter price in Pakistan?

Solis makes 12 kW hybrids in its three-phase high-voltage S6 range. Check whether the quote is for a three-phase model and which battery it includes, then ask us for today's rate.

Can a 20 kW hybrid inverter use 48 V batteries?

Generally not. Three-phase hybrids in this range are designed for high-voltage stacked batteries. A 48 V battery bank at this power would need very high currents and is not on these inverters' compatibility lists.

Is one 20 kW inverter better than two 10 kW inverters?

One three-phase unit is usually simpler to wire, monitor and maintain. Two units can add redundancy or suit a phased budget, but need careful design. We compare both options for your site.

Do I need NEPRA approval for a 20 kW hybrid system?

Under the 2026 rules, exporting systems of 25 kW or less are approved by your DISCO without a NEPRA fee. Check the latest position in our NEPRA licence guide, as rules have changed several times this year.

How many solar panels does a 15 kW hybrid system need?

That depends on panel wattage and how far you oversize the array against the inverter. Each inverter's datasheet gives a maximum DC input. We set the panel count during design.
