LONGi Hi-MO X10 and Hi-MO 7 Price in Pakistan: Which to Buy
Short answer
The LONGi Hi-MO X10 price in Pakistan today is WhatsApp for today's rate per panel (about WhatsApp for today's rate per watt), and the Hi-MO 7 is WhatsApp for today's rate per panel (about WhatsApp for today's rate per watt). The Hi-MO X10 is a larger, high-efficiency back-contact panel for roofs where space is tight or partly shaded; the Hi-MO 7 is a standard-size bifacial panel that suits elevated structures and is easier to fit and handle. Only the 615 W Hi-MO 7 is in stock now; its lower bins (580-610 W) are out of stock, like every panel below 615 W. Compare them per watt, then pick the one that fits your roof, structure and inverter.
This guide compares the two families head to head. For LONGi's full range and how to buy genuine stock, see our LONGi solar panels page.

Hi-MO X10 vs Hi-MO 7
Hi-MO X10
Back-contact, about 630–670 W: in stock
Hi-MO 7
Only the 615 W bin in stock; lower bins out of stock
The two panels side by side
| Point | Hi-MO X10 | Hi-MO 7 |
|---|---|---|
| Cell design | Back-contact (HPBC 2.0): all contacts on the rear of the cell | N-type cells, conventional front contacts |
| Faces | Usually monofacial | Bifacial, double glass |
| Approximate size | About 2.38 × 1.13 m (7.8 × 3.7 ft) | About 2.28 × 1.13 m (7.5 × 3.7 ft) |
| Typical power | 630-670 W | 615 W in stock (580-610 W out of stock) |
| Main strength | More watts per square metre; designed to lose less power in partial shade | Extra yield from the rear side on raised structures |
| Launched | Late 2024 | 2023 |
| Best fit | Small, crowded or partly shaded roofs | Elevated structures over light roofs; standard layouts |
Two points stand out:
- The X10 is not just "a bigger Hi-MO 7". It is a different cell design. Its higher wattage comes partly from a slightly longer panel and partly from higher efficiency.
- The Hi-MO 7 is the same width and close to the length of older standard 585 W panels. That makes it easy to drop into common structure designs. See solar panel size in feet for roof planning.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the Hi-MO X10 when
- Roof space is the limit. On a small house roof with a water tank and stair room, higher efficiency puts more kW in the same area.
- Part of the roof gets shade for some hours from a parapet, tank or neighbouring building. LONGi states that the X10's design reduces shading losses; good string layout still matters most.
- The panel sits low or flush, where a bifacial rear face would gain little anyway.
- Appearance matters. With no front busbars, the panels look uniform.
Choose the Hi-MO 7 when
- You are building an elevated structure over a white or light-coloured roof, so the rear face can collect reflected light. See L2, L3 and elevated structures.
- The roof is large and open, and price per watt matters more than watts per square metre.
- You want a standard size that matches common structures and is easier for two people to carry up narrow stairs.
- You are adding to an existing Hi-MO 7 array and want strings to match.
When neither is the right answer
On a big factory shed where space is not the limit, a large-format bifacial panel from another LONGi line or another brand may give better value per watt. And if you want a back-contact panel, compare the X10 with AIKO's back-contact panels on the same per-watt basis.
Example: same roof, two panels
Here is the arithmetic, with round illustrative figures, not a design for your roof.
For example, suppose a roof has space for 16 panels of either size in the layout (the X10 is slightly longer, so check this on your own roof first).
- 16 × 645 W Hi-MO X10 = 10.32 kW
- 16 × 615 W Hi-MO 7 = 9.84 kW
The X10 array is larger by about 0.5 kW. Whether that is worth paying for depends on the price per watt of each on the day, and whether the Hi-MO 7 would sit on an elevated structure where its rear face adds yield. This is why we ask for a site survey before recommending either.
Wiring and inverter matching
Higher-wattage panels usually carry more current. Before buying X10 panels, check:
- Inverter MPPT current limit. Each panel string's current must stay within what each MPPT input accepts. Some inverters suited to standard-format panels can still take X10 strings; others cannot without design changes. See solar inverter price in Pakistan.
- String voltage. Count panels per string so voltage stays inside the inverter's range on cold winter mornings and hot summer afternoons. Our series vs parallel guide explains the basics.
- One model per string. Do not mix Hi-MO X10 and Hi-MO 7 panels in the same string.
Our 600 to 750 watt panel guide covers the structure and current checks for larger panels in more depth.
What about Hi-MO 6?
Hi-MO 6 is an earlier LONGi back-contact rooftop generation, generally in the 570-580 W range. It is now out of stock, like every panel below 615 W. If you are extending an older Hi-MO 6 system, new panels go on a separate string or MPPT. For older 585 W class systems, see the 585 watt solar panel guide.
Check you are getting the real model
Because the X10 and Hi-MO 7 command different prices, mislabelled or substitute panels are a real risk. Ask for the full model code and serial list with the quote, and check serials on LONGi's own Module Authenticity page. Our guide on how to check genuine solar panels explains how.

Frequently asked questions
What is the LONGi Hi-MO X10 price in Pakistan today?
The Hi-MO X10 is currently WhatsApp for today's rate per panel, depending on the power class. Compare it on price per watt against other panels. WhatsApp 0336 666 4321 for today's rate.
What is the LONGi Hi-MO X10 645 watt price in Pakistan?
The 645 W Hi-MO X10 is currently WhatsApp for today's rate per panel. Confirm the full model code on your quote, as LONGi sells more than one X10 variant.
What is the LONGi Hi-MO 7 price in Pakistan?
The Hi-MO 7 is currently WhatsApp for today's rate per panel, depending on the power bin. It is a standard-size bifacial panel and often competitive per watt.
Is Hi-MO X10 better than Hi-MO 7?
It is more efficient, so it gives more watts from the same area. The Hi-MO 7 can match or beat it on value per watt, especially on an elevated structure where its bifacial rear side adds yield. The better buy depends on your roof.
Is the Hi-MO 7 bifacial?
Yes. Hi-MO 7 is a bifacial double-glass panel. The rear-side gain is meaningful only when the panel is raised over a light-coloured surface.
Can I mix Hi-MO X10 and Hi-MO 7 in one system?
In the same system, yes, if each type is on its own string or MPPT input, designed for its voltage and current. Do not mix them within one string.
What warranty do LONGi Hi-MO panels have?
A manufacturer's warranty per product, on LONGi's terms for that model. On our installations we add a 3-year structure warranty and a 1-year service warranty under the applicable project terms.
