This table is for the ABi-Solar GT 3K and GT 5K on-grid inverters and comes from ABi-Solar's user manual. When a warning occurs the screen shows "WR". The four warnings are: no PV module connected, flash memory failure, inverter start-up failure and fan failure (5 kW only).

ABi-Solar safe owner checks
- Photograph the code and note the time.
- A blank screen early in the morning or in the evening is normal: the panels do not have enough voltage yet.
- The inverter switching on and off on a cloudy day is normal.
- For code 6, let the inverter cool and clear dust from the heat sink. Do not use a pressure washer.
- For codes 22 to 24, check for load-shedding or a tripped main breaker.
What not to do
- Do not do the manual's breaker restart sequence yourself, because it includes switching the DC side. Ask your installer.
When to call an engineer
- Codes 1 to 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 or 14 to 18 that return after a restart.
- Codes 9, 12, 13 or 19: panel wiring and earthing checks.
- A blank screen in full sun.
