Sungrow hybrid shows Grid Confrontation (code 323)

Code 323 means the Sungrow hybrid found grid power on its backup (off-grid) output, where there should be none. This is a wiring fault, often from a changeover or a board where grid and backup circuits have been joined. Switch off and call an engineer; it can damage the inverter.

Why it happens

The backup port must only feed loads. If grid power reaches it through a shared neutral, a bridged breaker or a wrongly wired changeover, the inverter sees two sources fighting.
